Billing plans and prices are changing on April 3, 2018

Wild Apricot's pricing and plans are changing on April 3, 2018. Prices are increasing but so are the features and/or limits for each plan. As well, two new plans – Personal and Global – are being added.

Beginning on April 3, 2018, all paid plans will be allowed an unlimited number of administrators. In addition, accounts that use the Group plan will be able to enable recurring payments for membership dues. For all accounts, two new features – online store, and a mobile app for members – are being added as well.

What exactly are the changes?

The chart below shows the new and old pricing, along with the maximum number of contacts and maximum number of administrators for each plan, including the two new ones.

Why are prices changing?

We are adjusting our pricing plans to reflect the value we have added and will continue to add to Wild Apricot. The changes also reflect our commitment to make Wild Apricot a truly all-in-one solution. This means all organizations, no matter their size, have access to all Wild Apricot’s features.

When are the changes going into effect?

The new pricing goes into effect on April 3, 2018, but the cost of your Wild Apricot plan won't go up until your first renewal date after April 3, 2018. For example, if you are on a monthly plan with a renewal day of the 15th, you will be billed using the new pricing on April 15th, 2018. If you are on an annual plan with a renewal day of March 15th, your price will change on March 15th, 2019.

Can I lock in the existing prices by paying in advance?

Unfortunately, no. If your next renewal date is after April 3rd, 2018, you will be subject to the new pricing.

Is there any other way to delay the price increase?

To delay the price increase for your organization, you can switch from monthly to annual (and save 10%) if your next renewal date is before April 3, 2018.

You can also take advantage of the new two-year lock-in subscription plan we are introducing for all accounts. When your plan comes up for renewal after April 3, you will be given the option to prepay for two years at a 15% discount.

For more information on these options, send an email from a full site administrator to billing@wildapricot.com.

Can I switch from my Group account to the $25 Personal plan?

Yes, you can downgrade to our new Personal plan at any time. We recommend downgrading as close to your next renewal date as possible since we do not provide any refunds or adjustments for a period for which payment has already been made. Also, you will want to make sure that you are eligible for the lower level plan by checking your current number of contacts.

Do I get a refund if I downgrade before the end of my billing period?

No, there are no refunds if you switch to a cheaper plan before the end of your billing period.

How will upgrades work?

Any upgrades processed before April 3, 2018 will receive a prorated calculation based on the pricing you are currently on. If you are still on grandfathered pricing, you will continue to receive it until your next renewal date. Any upgrades processed after April 3, 2018 will receive prorated calculation based on the new pricing.
