The Version 6.17 release includes the following changes and enhancements.
Delivery options and shipping charges for online store
On the new Delivery options screen, you can set up multiple shipping options and pickup options for your online store.
For each shipping option, you can specify a shipping charge. Pickup options are always free.
As part of your tax settings, you can choose whether to apply your default tax rules to shipping charges. You cannot provide for different tax rates to be applied for store orders or shipping charges based on the customer's location.
You can change the order of your shipping and pickup options by dragging and dropping them within the Delivery options screen.
The shipping and pickup options you specify will appear on the Delivery step within the cart checkout process.
If you don't set up any delivery options, the Delivery screen will not be displayed as part of the checkout process.
Exporting the waitlist
When you export event registrants, you can now choose to include those on the waitlist.
Within the export file, contacts on the waitlist will have their Payment state set to On waitlist. By default, the option to include those on the waitlist is not checked.
Uploading files as part of event registration
You can now allow or require event registrants to upload documents and images as part of their event registration. To do so, you add an event field of the new file attachment type to the event registration form.
On the registration form, the field will appear as a Choose files button that the registrant can click to upload up to 20 files, with each file a maximum of 20 MB.
The supported document formats are: TXT, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PTT, PPTX, ZIP, CSV. The supported image formats are: JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIF, TIFF.
If you designate your file attachment field as a required field, then registrants will have to upload at least one file before proceeding with their registration.
After the registrant uploads a file and confirms the registration, administrators can view the file attachment(s) from the registrant's registration details.
Registrants can view their attachments by clicking their event registration within the list on the My event registrations tab of their member profiles. Registrants cannot replace or delete file attachments after submitting the registration form.
Option to not automatically send password email to new contacts
You now have the option to not automatically send the password email when a non-member contact is added to your database by the system.
Non-member contacts are added by the system when they sign up for an event, order from your store, or make a donation, or complete any other form.
With this option unchecked, contacts will only receive the password email if you send it manually.
This option appears on the Password email screen. to display the Password email screen, hover the Settings menu and click the Contacts option. Under the Contacts settings list, click Password email.
