To be released beginning on May 20, 2019. The release will be published in batches over the space of several days to ensure stability. Consequently, some changes may not appear on your account until after the release date.
The Version 6.21 release includes the following changes and enhancements.
Event list filters
The events list filters have been changed to behave more intuitively.
Previously, the Upcoming filter did not include events whose visibility were set to admin only, and the Admin only filter did not include past events.
Now, the Upcoming filter displays all upcoming events, regardless of visibility, and the Admin only filter displays all events whose visibility is set to admin only, regardless of date.
Webhooks
Using webhooks, you can notify an external service when selected changes occur in your Wild Apricot account. For example, you could set up a webhook to notify a service when a new event is added to your Wild Apricot site, making it possible to automatically synchronize your Wild Apricot events with Google calendars or Outlook calendars.
As part of your webhook settings, you can choose which kinds of changes will trigger the sending of a notification.
Working with webhooks requires a certain degree of technical knowledge. If you need help setting up a webhook, you can engage the services of one of our technical partners.
New Integration submenu
Under the Settings menu, there's now a new submenu called Integration. Within this new submenu is the new Webhooks option, along with an existing option, Authorized applications, which was previously grouped under the Security submenu.
Misleading DKIM validation
After you've properly set up DKIM authentication for your custom domain, an incomplete warning will be displayed on the Domain name management screen for the www version of your domain name.
This warning is misleading because DKIM is used to authenticate emails sent from your domain and the www version of your domain does not form part of your email address.
Our domain validation will no longer check DKIM setup for the www version of your custom domain.
