New field types for your database
Number field
The Number field accepts numbers as input and is recognized as numeric data in exports. With a Number field, you can use numeric data as a database filter and search your database by such factors as member age, years of membership, golf handicap, or any other numeric data. Numeric extra charge field
The Numeric extra charge field is available for use within Members and Events. This field type allows you to add an arbitrary cash amount to a membership application or event registration. The field is currency-based and recognizes two decimal places. To learn more, see Numeric field types.
Two-factor authentication for admins
To enhance the security of WildApricot accounts, we have introduced Two-factor authentication (2FA) specifically for account administrators.
This security measure:
- is optional for existing accounts
- will not apply to your non-admin users, such as members or contacts
Content distribution network (CDN) for files
You may notice faster loading times for your WildApricot website. We've improved overall performance and speed with our content distribution network (CDN).
Better ways to access help
We've improved access to Help and Support within the WildApricot browser app. Access live support quicker and find specific answers easier while using your account.
Service notices displayed on your Dashboard
System notices will appear on your admin Dashboard and the in-app Help panel.
Enhancements
- To help you streamline event communications, we've added alerts when you attempt to schedule automated Event emails for events with multiple sessions. To learn more, view Email delivery options.
Admins have the option to limit their members' ability to renew their own memberships within their profiles. This option in Members > Levels > Renewal policy lets admins decide whether to show or hide a Renew button within member profiles. To learn more, view Membership renewal settings.
Bug fixes
- We resolved an issue where some admins did not have the Theme overrides feature on the Website screen.
- We fixed a problem for a specific account where admins were unable to access edit options on Site pages.
- Some products weren't displayed for admins in Store > Products when there was a very high number of total products. We addressed limitations within the Store feature and resolved this issue.
- We fixed a problem that caused photos uploaded with the Photo album gadget to be attributed to Anonymous instead of the name provided.
- We resolved issues affecting Donations data exports.
- We addressed a problem affecting some widgets when they were used in the Chrome browser.
