To be released beginning on June 6, 2022. The release will be rolled out to groups of accounts over a span of several days. Consequently, some changes may not appear on your account until after the release date.
The Version 7.26 release includes the following changes and enhancements.
Traffic encryption now automatic
Traffic encryption will be automatically enabled for new accounts, and existing accounts that have encryption already enabled will no longer have the option of disabling it. Consequently, the Traffic encryption screen will no longer be available for these accounts. Existing accounts that do not have encryption enabled will not be affected by this change, though we strongly encourage you to enable encryption for the protection of yourself and your members.
Free plan limitations
In addition to the existing limitations, access to Wild Apricot's APIs will be disabled for free plans. This will, in turn, disable access for free plans to services that use Wild Apricot's APIs, including webhooks, the WordPress plugin, and automated workflows built using Make (formerly Integromat).
Usability improvements to polling feature
In response to feedback on the polling feature, we'd reorganized the screens somewhat and changed some terms to avoid confusion. Here are the changes:
- Moved the Comment option from the Access & settings tab to the General tab
- The Save button is now labelled Save as draft
- The Stop poll button is now Close poll
- The Collecting votes status is now Active
- The Draft status is now Unpublished
Bug fixes
A number of issues identified by our clients have been fixed, including but not limited to the following:
- Theme rebuild error: "Couldn't open file with Id #"
- Error when attempting to update credit card for PayPal recurring profile
- Donation list filtered by date range showing all donations for users with at least one donation within the range
- Unable to upload files to a file attachment field using the Android member app
- Downloading file attachment results in 404 not found error
- Filenames for attached files not excluded in export file
- Voiding event registration invoice does not update the balance owing status
- Internal error when attempting to pay very small amounts
