How can contacts opt out of receiving text messages?

Contacts can opt out of receiving text messages from your organization in one of two ways:

  • Text STOP to your virtual phone number
  • Remove the checkmark from the consent field on their member profile.

Texting STOP will not update a contact's consent field setting, but will prevent them from receiving further text messages from your organization. To sign up to receive messages after texting STOP, contact can text either START or UNSTOP.
