In Facebook, when you share a link to a site page, a thumbnail image of the website is displayed. To change the thumbnail used to represent your Wild Apricot site, follow these steps:

  1. Hover over Settings menu and select the Site option.
  2. Click the Meta-tags option.
  3. Within the Raw Headers field, enter the following meta-tag code:

    <meta property="og:image" content="http://www.whatever.com.com/resources/filename.jpg" />

    and replace the name and location of this picture with the name and location of your picture.

  4. Save your changes.

It may take a 24-48 hours before your changes are reflected on Facebook. To check the status of your site – including its current og:image value – click here and enter the address of your site.
